The Chicago Bears have swung a trade to get second-year quarterback Justin Fields some more help on the outside. According to the NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Bears have agreed to a trade with the New England Patriots for wide receiver N’Keal Harry.

For Harry, he gets a fresh start to his young career as it appeared that things did not mesh well for the young wideout in New England. In his three years with the Patriots, he caught 57 passes for 598 yards with four touchdowns. Also, the former first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft only started in 18 games for New England.

The Patriots typically find themselves on the right side of a trade when it comes to value, usually picking up players for late-round picks. However, this time around, New England found themselves giving up a former first-round pick for a future seventh-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
