Every year, one of the most popular Super Bowl bets is color of the Gatorade bath. But what are the odds for a Cincinnati Bengals player to take a bath in Skyline Chili?

If you ask Bengals tight end CJ Uzomah, he’d probably say it’s a lock. He’d know — he’s the one planning to do it.

Uzomah told reporters his plan is to take a bath in the Cincinnati staple if the Bengals defeat the Rams in Sunday’s Super Bowl. Add that to the list of interesting celebrations, including mayonnaise and Reese’s cup baths.

Before he starts thinking about how he’d celebrate, the question is if Uzomah will play in the big game. He suffered a knee injury in the Bengals’ AFC Championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs. However, there have been some promising updates about his status.

Time’s running out for Uzomah to get healthy, though. Super Bowl LVI kicks off from SoFi Stadium Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

“Again, we’ve got three more days of work to see where he’s at,” Taylor said, via NBC Sports. “He won’t practice today but he’ll likely get in some work tomorrow. So, again, optimistic with where he’s at.”

Uzomah was carted off the field less than two weeks ago during the AFC Championship game after playing just nine snaps. As he left the game, several experts speculated that the injury could be serious enough to hold him out this week, but he has refused to miss out on this opportunity.

He finished with 49 catches for 493 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season, adding 13 receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown so far in the postseason. As the Bengals top tight end on the depth chart, Uzomah plays a key role both in the passing game and rushing attack.

Uzomah also expressed his desire to compete in the Super Bowl this week, saying that he did not plan to miss the biggest game of his life no matter what injury he suffered.
