After Texas‘ 17-7 win over rival Texas A&M on Saturday night, the beef apparently continued between two of the key players in the contest.

Texas EDGE rusher Colin Simmons posted a picture to his social media account in the wee hours Sunday morning, tagging Texas A&M’s Ar’maj Reed-Adams as he threw up the double middle fingers.

The caption read: “@THE55ARMAJ Watch yourself sht wicked out hea 55.” You can check it out below.

During the game, the two players were caught up in a slight altercation following a play. Reed-Adams managed to rip off Simmons’ helmet, and Simmons could be seen on the television broadcast fuming.

Of course, he would earn the last laugh on a night that the Texas defense was absolutely on fire. The Longhorns shut down a fourth-down attempt in goal-to-go territory late in the contest, preserving the 10-point lead.

Steve Sarkisian quickly put the kibosh on his players gathering at midfield after the win. When he noticed some gathering there or running over, he quickly ran to the scene and dispersed them.

Potential dust-ups avoided, the head coach continued with his postgame interview.

It featured him answering questions about Texas clinching a berth in the SEC Championship Game in the program’s first year in the league.

“Well, that was the goal coming into it,” Sarkisian said to ESPN’s Holly Rowe during an on-field postgame interview. “It doesn’t matter what conference we’re in. Our goal is to be champions, year in and year out. That’s the standard here at the University of Texas and that will never change.”
