Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay called out Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder after he made threats to get “dirt” on other owners. Snyder has again become a hot topic of conversation after a recent ESPN report detailed that he had enough secrets to “blow up” several NFL owners and even commissioner Roger Goodell. Additionally, the report indicates that Snyder has hired private investigators to help him gather information on the rest of the NFL.

On Tuesday, Irsay made it clear that he wasn’t interested in any threats made by his fellow team owner while detailing his plan to vote Snyder out of NFL ownership.

“He can investigate me till the cows come home, it’s not going to back me off,” said Irsay via The Ringer‘s Lindsay Jones.

Irsay was also quoted on saying that voting Snyder out of the league was “in the best interest of the National Football League,” according to Albert Breer.

The NFL owners are currently attending their fall meetings in New York City, and the issue of Snyder’s threats and overall stretch of controversies has been one of the biggest stories hanging over the gathering of owners. Over recent NFL history, Snyder’s status as an owner has been questioned by fans around the league following multiple scandals and investigations into his team.

As of the current owners meetings, there are no plans to vote on Snyder’s future with the NFL — although voting him out as an owner would require 24 votes for yes from the 32 voters. Snyder is not present at this year’s meetings, with his wife and co-CEO Tanya Snyder representing the franchise this week alongside Commanders president Jason Wright.

The initial report by ESPN also highlighted the growing rift between Snyder and the rest of the NFL’s team owners, referencing a pair of quotes made by Snyder and an anonymous owner.

“The NFL is a mafia,” said Snyder. “All the owners hate each other.”

“That’s not true,” said another NFL owner. “All the owners hate Dan.”
