Cowboys linebacker Jabril Cox carted to the locker room in Vikings game
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Jabril Cox was carted from the sidelines back to the Cowboys locker room following his evaluation in the medical tent, according to Michael Gehlken via KristiCowboy. He was also downgraded to being ruled out of the game, according to Gehlken.
The injury was to Cox’s right knee and it happened during punt coverage. The rookie linebacker from LSU was selected by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
It’s yet another piece of bad news for a Cowboys’ roster that has been plagued by injuries for most of the 2021 NFL season.
Since the Cowboys released veteran linebacker Jaylon Smith, Cox has seen an increase in his snaps for Dallas.
