With a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday, the Dallas Cowboys improved their odds to win Super Bowl LVII. The Week 15 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars had impacted the lines coming out of Vegas but Jerry Jones’ squad bounced back after taking down the Jalen Hurts-less Eagles on Christmas Eve.

Needing the Eagles to lose their final two games of the season to take the NFC East, the Cowboys’ only measure of control over the title is to win out, and hope for the best. If both teams finish the year with 13-4 records, Dallas would own the tiebreaker with the better divisional record.

In Week 17 action versus the Titans, Mike McCarthy and Co. opened as 10-point favorites. However, Tennessee announced several starters will miss the Thursday night game, which caused the line to shift to 12.5 points. For Week 18 versus Washington, Dallas’s chances to win are at 82%, according to ESPN’s matchup predictor.

The Eagles are also favored to win their final two games of the season, however, making them the strongest pick from the NFC East in the latest Vegas odds. They have -1700 odds versus the Cowboys at +1200.

Cowboys going ‘arctic’ for TNF versus Titans

The Dallas Cowboys unveiled their special uniform combination for Thursday Night Football versus the Titans, revealing “arctic” white unis and helmets.

“WARNING: these uniforms are so cold, they just might cause frostbite,” the team tweeted on Wednesday. “The Arctic Cowboy look debuts in primetime on @NFL Thursday Night Football.”

While the Cowboys are going full-speed ahead with two wins needed to catch up to the Eagles for the NFC East, the Titans are putting on the breaks this week. The only destiny-changing game left for Tennessee is in Week 18 versus the Jaguars. The Titans’ injury report on Wednesday featured six starters, eight players total, sitting out for Week 17, including star running back Derrick Henry.

Going into the Thursday night matchup, Dallas has multiple stars “questionable.” Running back Tony Pollard did not participate in practice from Monday through Wednesday. The team plans to evaluate his ability to contribute through game warmups. Also questionable is linebacker Micah Parsons. Parsons was a limited participant in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. Still dealing with his pinched nerve, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch is officially out for TNF.
