Trevon Diggs brings son Aaiden to press conference, who predicts Super Bowl title for Dallas
Trevon Diggs is a popular man in Dallas thanks to his ability on the football field. The former second-round pick out of Alabama was an interceptions machine for the Cowboys last year, earning All-Pro status for his performances. But Diggs’ relationship with his son, Aaiden, has been a special one and something everyone has enjoyed over the past two seasons.
Aaiden made another appearance on Monday, appearing at a press conference with his father. He was given a step stool to match the height of Trevon, while some questions were being asked. Diggs said sharing these kinds of moments with his son is special, knowing he will not be in the NFL forever.
“It’s fun, Just being able to share these moments,” Diggs said. “Football doesn’t last forever. …It’s a blessing.”
Media asks Aaiden questions
As for Aaiden, he got some time on the microphone as well. Saying many different things, the one that stood out the most was predicting this year’s Super Bowl winner. To no surprise, the Cowboys were his pick and the reasoning is something most fans across the country can resonate with.
“Dallas is going to win the Super Bowl… because it’s my favorite team,” he said via Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

There were a couple of other funny quotes from Aaiden, who said his favorite part of practice is when his Dad gets an interception. He also stated how much he loves the world and his family.
More on Trevon Diggs, relationship with his son
Aaiden became the real star of the Dallas Cowboys during HBO’s broadcast of Hard Knocks. He instantly became one of the main characters, where the relationship between him and Trevon came into the limelight. The two clearly have a special bond and it’s carried over into the 2022 season.
While his allegiances may have switched over to Dak Prescott, Aaiden was also a huge fan of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. However, based on who he is picking to win the Super Bowl this season, the youngster may be 100% bought into what Dallas is doing. Whether it’s the fall camp his father is having or liking Prescott’s leadership with the offense, Aaiden is keen on a deep run this season.
Or, you know, because it’s his “favorite team.”
