WATCH: Chris Long hilariously calls Madden Ratings Adjustment Hotline to defend Micah Parsons

Rivalry runs deep between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. The two old-school NFC East franchises don’t agree on much and haven’t throughout history. However, there finally seems to be something the two can come together on — Micah Parsons is underrated in Madden 23.

The star Cowboys linebacker and/or defensive end took to Twitter recently asking for help. He wanted fans to call the Madden Ratings Adjustment Hotline in an attempt to get himself rated higher than an 88 overall. A former Eagles player, Chris Long, came to his defense and hilariously gave the hotline a call.

“Hi this is Chris Long, former defensive end in the NFL,” Long said. “I used to rush the passer a lot and let me just tell you. I was once like a 90 in your game. I could never do anything that Micah Parsons can do… You guys are a bunch of idiots, honestly. I used to play for the Eagles. I’m not even a Cowboys fan. In fact, I kind of hate ’em.”

The call is off the back of Parsons’ impressive performance on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While Dallas as a whole had a miserable night, Parsons put up five tackles, two tackles for a loss, two sacks, and two quarterback hurries. Not many Cowboy players stood out but Parsons seems to be on another level right now.

Even a former Eagles player can agree.

With a call as strong as Long’s and Cowboys fans across the country most likely doing the same, Madden will have a decision to make regarding Parsons’ rating. Especially if he continues to put up impressive performances throughout the season.
