Ahead of their matchup this week, the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants have made their injury reports available from Wednesday’s practice. Among the players who did not participate in practice were wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Amari Cooper, running back Ezekiel Elliott and safety Donovan Wilson. Cornerback Trevon Diggs was a full participant in practice despite back injury concerns.

Cowboys and Giants injury list

Did Not Practice – Cowboys: DE Dorance Armstrong (Ankle), WR Amari Cooper(Hamstring), RB Ezekiel Elliott(Knee), S Donovan Wilson (Groin)

Coming off of a win against the Carolina Panthers, both Cooper and Elliott played during the game. This Wednesday however, neither participated in practice due to injuries. The injury situation is still unclear with safety Donovan Wilson and defensive end Dorance Armstrong. The Cowboys were hopeful that Wilson might be able to play last week, but ultimately he was not ready by game day.

Did Not Practice – Giants: S Jabrill Peppers(Hamstring), WR Sterling Shepard(Hamstring), WR Darius Slayton(Hamstring), TE Kaden Smith(Knee), OL Andrew Thomas(Foot), DL Leonard Williams(Knee)

The Giants have six players who did not participate in practice on Wednesday. Shepard and Slayton are both currently recovering from hamstring injuries and the Giants have all three starting receivers currently listed as injured with Golladay dealing with a groin injury. Peppers and Williams are both key members of the Giants defense, as well as Thomas on the offensive line.

Limited Participation – Cowboys: DE Randy Gregory(Knee), T Ty Nsekhe(Illness), DT Carlos Watkins(Knee)

Watkins and Nsekhe both are improving after not participating in practice at all this time last week. Both were limited as they recover and return to the Cowboys lineup. Gregory is currently working through a knee injury but was limited in practice Wednesday as well. Gregory and Watkins are both heavily relied on for the Cowboys defensive line.

Limited Participation – Giants: RB Saquon Barkley(Knee), OL Ben Bredeson(Hand), DB Nate Ebner(Quad), WR Kenny Golladay(Groin)

Saquon Barkley was limited in practice as he deals with a knee injury. In the Giants first win of the season, Saquon was a huge factor including a deep touchdown reception and the game winning rushing touchdown in overtime. Golladay was limited as well, and with the injuries to Shepard and Slayton his status will be important to the Giants on Sunday.

Full Participation – Cowboys: CB Trevon Diggs(Back)

Trevon Diggs had a phenomenal game in an already NFL-leading season by adding another two interceptions to give him five on the year. Following his second interception, the Cowboys pulled him from the game with a potential back injury. The move appeared to be a mostly precautionary one, as Diggs was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.

Full Participation – Giants: WR C.J. Board(Clavicle)

In some good news for the Giants receiving unit, Board was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Although he’s only been targeted three times on the season, he has two receptions for 44 yards.
