Dallas Cowboys release Friday injury report, update Dak Prescott's status vs Lions
The Dallas Cowboys’ starting quarterback is officially back. Dak Prescott doesn’t have an injury designation and will be a full go vs. the Detroit Lions this week.
Dallas released its final injury report ahead of Sunday’s game, and Prescott was among a big group to lose injury designations and be able to play against the Lions. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb started the week limited in practice, but practiced in full Thursday and Friday and will also be able to play without limitation.
The Cowboys are coming off a rough loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football last week, but will now have their QB1 back. Dallas takes on Detroit Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Here’s the Cowboys’ full injury report for Friday.
Cowboys final injury report vs Lions
Out: T Matt Waletzko (shoulder)
Waletzko likely suffered a season-ending injury this week, according to The Dallas Morning News, and didn’t participate in practice on Friday as he awaits surgery. That adds to the question marks on the offensive line for Dallas, especially from a depth standpoint behind Tyler Smith, who’s settling in well to a starting role.

No injury designation: QB Dak Prescott (right thumb), DT Quinton Bohanna (shoulder), DT Neville Gallimore (wrist), LB Devin Harper (Achilles), WR CeeDee Lamb (hip), T Jason Peters (chest), TE Dalton Schultz (knee)
Prescott is now in line to start Sunday after three full practices as he comes back from a right thumb injury he suffered during Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’ll also have his top target on the field with him in Lamb and Schultz will be available at tight end, as well.
That’s great news for the Cowboys offense after they struggled mightily early on in the loss to the Eagles last week.
