It’s a big reunion this weekend for Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn against Atlanta. The Cowboys released their Thursday injury report ahead of the matchup.

Dallas is coming off its worst performance of the year in a 30-16 loss to Denver last week. The Broncos scored 30 straight points before the Cowboys got on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter. They’re still 6-2, but there were some alarming signs last week.

But the Cowboys will try to shake that off this week against Atlanta at 1 p.m. ET.

Cowboys vs. Falcons injury report

Did not practice — LT Tyron Smith (ankle), WR Cedrick Wilson (shoulder), DT Quinton Bohanna (illness), RB Corey Clement (illness)

Defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna is a new name to show up on the injury report due to an illness. He’s one of three Cowboys dealing with an illness, including running back Corey Clement, who also missed practice Thursday. Seeing Clemet on the injury report is especially concerning since Ezekiel Elliott was limited again on Thursday.

Left tackle Tyron Smith continues to nurse that ankle injury, and wide receiver Cedrick Wilson’s shoulder injury isn’t great to see considering Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb both appear on the injury report, as well.

Limited participation — WR Amari Cooper (hamstring), RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee)

Seeing Cooper and Elliott on the injury report isn’t ideal, especially when they were limited again. They played through their injuries last week, but didn’t put up their usual numbers.

Elliott rushed for 51 yards on 10 carries and Cooper had just two receptions for 37 yards. Those are two big reasons why the Cowboys struggled against Denver.

If they can get to full participation or can be good to go for this week, they’ll be essential parts of the Cowboys offense in Dak Prescott’s second game back from injury.

Full participation — P Bryan Anger (not injury related), CB CJ Goodwin (illness), S Jayron Kearse (shoulder), WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle), LS Jake McQuaide (not injury related)

It’s good to see wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as a full participant. Since Cooper was limited, Lamb’s health will be huge this week, especially if Cooper’s not playing at 100%.

Cornerback CJ Goodwin and safety Jayron Kearse should be full goes this week, which will help a defense that struggled mightily last week against the Broncos. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn pointed to missed tackles as a big reason why Denver was able to have that kind of success.

Dallas and Atlanta kick off Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
