Cowboys release Week 15 Thursday injury report
There was little movement in the Dallas Cowboys’ Thursday injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Three defensive ends have shown up on Thursday’s report, including Dorance Thomas, DeMarcus Lawrence and Dante Fowler. Thomas and Lawrence were both limited for the second-straight day, while Fowler missed practice for personal reasons and is not suspected of having an injury.
Other than Fowler’s addition to the list, there was no movement at all from Wednesday. Below is the full Cowboys injury report:
- DE Dorance Thomas (Ankle) LP
- S Jayron Kearse (Shoulder/Back) LP
- DE DeMarcus Lawrence (Foot) LP
- TE Jake Ferguson (Concussion)
- DE Dante Fowler (Non-Injury/Personal)
Jerry Jones on Odell Beckham Jr: Stand by
Jerry Jones just threw more fuel onto the fire regarding Odell Beckham Jr.‘s potential future with the Dallas Cowboys. Jones would like to get Beckham in “sooner rather than later,” he said.
When asked about an update on the Super Bowl-winning wideout’s status with the organization, the Cowboys’ owner told everyone to, “stand by.”

With contract discussions now eclipsing over a month, injury concerns have been the problem with Beckham and Dallas since visiting last week. Beckham tore his ACL during the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams and is still in the midst of his rehab process.
Still, talks have not slowed down between to two after the Cowboys went ahead and signed veteran wide receiver T.Y. Hilton to the roster this past week. Still, while speaking on NFL on Prime Video, Beckham explained his preference and ideal timetable for a return to the field.
“I would like to be in a stable environment, get up at 6 am, leave at 6 pm for 4 weeks, and then let’s talk about it. … I’m not saying I couldn’t step in and play regular season, but I don’t see the point,” Odell Beckham Jr said.
OBJ emphasized that he hasn’t made a decision yet. He just wants a stable environment. It’s interesting, however, that not playing in the regular season lines up with his reported recovery timeline.
