The Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints have their final injury reports available from Wednesday ahead of their Thursday night matchup. Cedrick Wilson is ruled out for the game, with Amari Cooper and the Saints’ Alvin Kamara both listed as questionable ahead of Thursday.

Cowboys vs Saints Wednesday injuries

Did Not Practice – Cowboys: WR Cedrick Wilson(Ankle, OUT), WR Malik Turner(Illness, Questionable)

Wilson’s ankle injury continues to be a problem for the receiver as he is now ruled out for Thursday’s game. The Cowboys expect to have Lamb return this week, but losing Wilson will certainly be another blow to a receiving corps struggling to get back to full strength.

The addition of Malik Turner to the injury report on Wednesday continues to thin the Cowboys at receiver. However, with his official designation as questionable it will likely be a game time decision for the Cowboys whether or not he’ll be ready to play.

Limited Participation – Cowboys: WR Amari Cooper(COVID activation, Questionable)

Amari Cooper’s status for Thursday’s game is still unknown as well. Cooper returned to the Cowboys practice facility finally after being forced into COVID-19 protocols after a positive test. Cooper’s unvaccinated status made his absence longer, and while he’s returned to the team he still was limited in practice on Wednesday.

Head coach Mike McCarthy said on Tuesday that he doesn’t believe Cooper will be at the game if he didn’t practice on Wednesday. Like Turner, it may be another game time decision to let him play or rest another week.

Full Participation – Cowboys: RB Ezekiel Elliott(Knee), WR CeeDee Lamb(Concussion), DE Tarell Basham(Chest)

Overall, the Cowboys appear to be nearing full strength and having stars like Elliott and Lamb being fully available in practice is a great sight to see. With defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence close to returning and the worst of the offensive line’s injuries behind them, the Cowboys are aiming to close the season strong.

Lamb suffered a head injury that put him into concussion protocols and caused him to miss last week’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Lamb and Cooper both being out certainly had an impact in the Cowboys’ loss, but with Lamb being a full participant in practice this week it appears he’ll be ready to go this Thursday.

Elliott’s knee has been a persistent and present injury for most of the season, but has not caused him to miss time yet. While his workload and production has decreased over the past few weeks, he continues to practice fully and be ready on game day.

Basham being a full participant is a good development as well after he was listed as limited on Monday earlier this week.

Did Not Practice – Saints: T Terron Armstead(Knee, Questionable), DE Marcus Davenport(Shoulder, OUT), LB Kaden Elliss(Hamstring, OUT), DE Tanoh Kpassagnon(Ankle, OUT), T Ryan Ramczyk(Knee, Questionable)

Limited Participation – Saints: RB Alvin Kamara(Knee, Questionable)

Full Participation – Saints: CB Paulson Adebo(Concussion), LB Andrew Dowell(Concussion), QB Taysom Hill(Foot), RB Mark Ingram(Knee)

The biggest question entering Thursday is the status of Kamara, as he continued to be limited in practice this week with a knee injury. Despite being available in practice, the progression of his healing has been slow enough to earn him a “questionable” designation for the game.

Even if Kamara is ultimately available, it will be worth watching if his knee is a lingering problem during the game as Elliott’s has appeared to be.

In some good news for the Saints’ offense, Taysom Hill appears ready to go against the Cowboys after dealing with a foot injury that could have forced him out.

Unfortunately, the New Orleans defensive line will be missing Kpassagnon and Davenport officially, along with Elliss.
