Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb suffers injury
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had a great day against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, but he unfortunately suffered an injury as well. Lamb suffered an arm contusion and is listed as questionable to return. With the Cowboys’ big lead, he is unlikely to re-enter Sunday’s game.
The Cowboys got back on track offensively after a poor showing last week against the Denver Broncos. Before leaving with an injury against the Falcons, Lamb had six receptions for 94 yards and two touchdowns on seven targets.
Lamb has had a big season for the Cowboys, so hopefully his injury is not serious. On the year prior to Sunday’s game, the former Oklahoma star had 41 receptions on 66 targets for 632 yards and four touchdowns. He has three 100-yard receiving days on the season.
The Cowboys offense is almost back at full health
The Cowboys haven’t yet been at full health offensively this season. Wide receiver Michael Gallup just made his return against the Falcons, catching three passes for 42 yards. Lamb is excited to have Gallup back in the Cowboys’ receiver room after his injury.

“Very excited,” Lamb said of Gallup’s return, as posted in a tweet from Jon Machota of The Athletic. “A lot of people know what MG can do, and if you don’t, you’ll find out real soon. The guy is a playmaker, phenomenal teammate. Can’t wait for him to touch the end zone a couple times here soon.”
Entering Sunday’s game, Lamb led the Cowboys in receiving. Amari Cooper trailed just behind him with 40 receptions on 61 targets for 532 yards and five touchdowns. Dalton Schultz and Cedrick Wilson have also stepped up as reliable pass catchers for the Cowboys in Gallup’s absence.
The Cowboys will improve to 7-2 on the season, further extending their lead on the NFC East. If Lamb and the rest of the team can avoid the injury bug, it could be a great finish for the Cowboys.
