Davante Adams discusses potential Odell Beckham Jr signing

As the Odell Beckham Jr saga is nearing its finish, we are now down to three possible locations. One of which is the Green Bay Packers, where he would line up opposite another star receiver in the NFL, Davante Adams. This week Adams was asked about the possibility of Beckham joining the Packers and his hope level regarding the possible signing.
“I learned my lesson with that, but they are pretty high, I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been talking to him a little bit, so we’ll see what happens. But I have said previously, I don’t expect anything to happen, but if it does, that would be great,” said Adams.
Adams tried to get Gilmore
Earlier this year, when Packers receiver Davante Adams heard the news about the New England Patriots releasing their All-Pro corner Stephon Gilmore, he quickly took to Instagram to recruit the soon-to-be free agent. Adams, not wasting any time, wrote “Call me.” in the comments under Stephon Gilmore’s farewell to New England.
Unfortunately for the fellow All-Pro, the Carolina Panthers swooped in and struck a deal with the Patriots before Gilmore could be officially released. and according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Adams had a very good reason behind his recruiting of the former Patriot corner.
Simply put, “to stir some s**t up.”
He did follow that up by saying that he was serious about wanting Gilmore to join him in Green Bay but knew it would be a long shot to get him.
Beckham’s final three
Odell Beckham Jr. has narrowed down his preferred destinations for attempting to recapture his greatness. According to ESPN’s Diana Russini, three teams stand above the rest for the star wide receiver.

“On the day in which he could make his final decision, free-agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. is honing in on the Chiefs, Packers and Saints, per league sources,” tweeted Russini.
Whichever team Beckham selects, he has a chance to win a Super Bowl. While the Green Bay Packers were originally reported to be his preferred destination, the Chiefs and the Saints would also love the services of the former LSU star.
In Green Bay, Beckham and Davante Adams would create one of the best wide receiver duos in the league. Similarly, Tyreek Hill and Beckham would be a ridiculous combination in Kansas City.
On the other hand, Beckham would be the lead dog in the New Orleans receiving corps. Moreover, the quarterback situation is less defined for the Saints, as Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian don’t measure up to Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes.
Adams did throw in one last pitch, in the presser to the receiver before he makes his decision.
“Just let him know he’s got a home over here if he wants to come,” Adams said.
