More on Brian Robinson, return to football
Robinson, who was a third-round pick coming out of Alabama, officially made his return to football on the big stage. Washington played on Thursday Night Football against the Chicago Bears where the running back had 17 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Just weeks after being shot by the now-arrested juvenile, Robinson was able to score his first career NFL touchdown. Had he not gone through that injury, it would have been special for the Tuscaloosa native who patiently waited his turn with the Crimson Tide.
Coming back so quickly only made the moment that much better.
