Currently, James Brown is ranked 30th nationally in his class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 5 center in the country, and No. 1 in the state of Illinois. On3’s evaluators are higher on him, ranking him 23rd overall in the class.
In addition, Brown has scheduled each of his five junior year official visits, and the Blue Devils and Tigers are both set to host him. First up, Brown will head to Columbia to visit Mizzou on October 1st, before traveling to Michigan State on October 7th. Later that month, he will travel to Chapel Hill to see UNC and will remain in the state of North Carolina to visit Duke on October 20th. Illinois, the “hometown” school, will receive his fifth and final junior year official on November 11th.
