Eight Stock Risers from EYBL Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Indiana – Hundreds of college coaches sat courtside throughout the weekend as Nike’s EYBL Circuit hosted EYBL Indianapolis. This was the circuit’s third session, but it was the first NCAA Live Evaluation Period of the summer.

Along with the long line of college coaches, a hoard of media was also in attendance. That is a perfect recipe to set the stage for some breakout and stock-raising performances.

On3’s Jamie Shaw sat courtside throughout the weekend. Here are eight players who elevated their stock at EYBL Indianapolis.

3-star F Mason Blackwood (City Rocks)

Mason Blackwood has a strong frame with good length and athletic explosion. The 6-foot-7 forward was able to consistently attack the basket with purpose. He absorbed contact and finished at the rim or got to the free-throw line. Blackwood made plays on defense and he filled the passing lanes hard on the break. His breakout performance was a 23-point outing against the Oakland Soldiers, but he was able to maintain consistent outputs throughout the weekend. Blackwood averaged 13.5 points and 6.8 rebounds on 58.3 percent shooting during EYBL Indy.

3-star SG Ryan Crotty (Boo Williams)

Quickly, Ryan Crotty established himself as an offensive threat for Boo Williams, as he has consistently been one of the team’s top scorers this travel season. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard is a confident shooter, who shifts well into space with the pace of play and establishes good balance points throughout the shot. He will still need to add weight and work on his footwork, but he is a shooter. And shooting touch is what every college coach is looking for. 

Crotty has not taken any official visits. He has recently added offers from Virginia Tech, Iowa, and other programs. He averaged 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting and even 40.0 percent from three on 7.5 attempts per game.

3-star PG Isaiah Denis (Team CP3)

Isaiah Denis has been on an upward trajectory since the high school season when his Davidson Day School/NC team won the North Carolina state championship. Denis is a 6-foot-4 guard who has long arms and shot-out-of-a-cannon-type explosion. Denis’ end-to-end speed, with the ball, is intriguing. While he will need to clean up his reads and continue learning pace, the natural tools that he has, accompanied by his alpha mentality make for a very interesting long-term outlook. 

VirginiaTech, Florida, and Wake Forest have each offered since the live period. Mississippi State, already offered, had their head coach at multiple games this weekend. He averaged 13.0 points while shooting 52.8 percent from the field.

3-star SG Jayden Forsythe (Team Final)

There were no frills to Jayden Forsythe’s game this weekend, but what he did bring was a steady approach. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard was a dead-eye shooter, knocking down over 50 percent of his shots from beyond the arc this weekend. He has a length frame with a sturdy build. I also liked what he showed as an off-ball defender, getting in the passing lanes and rotating on half-court possessions. After averaging >>> his recruitment will be a fun one to track as things progress forward. 

Virginia Tech, Northwestern, and Butler have already offered Forsythe since EYBL Indy. He averaged 15.3 points and shot 47.8 percent (11-23) from three.

3-star G Christian Jeffrey (New Heights Lightning)

There is a toughness factor that Christian Jeffrey brings each time he steps on the court. The 6-foot-3 guard is a point-of-attack menace, touching the paint on the ball and defending primary ball handlers in the half and the full court. He has a strong frame with long arms and an uber-aggressive mentality. His weekend was highlighted by a Sunday showing of 22 points on 11-12 shooting with three steals.

Mississippi State was the first to offer since EYBL Indy. He averaged 13.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 steals while shooting 72.7 percent from the field.

3-star F Brady Koehler (Indy Heat)

Brady Koehler is a late-bloomer, and you can see that in his game. He has excellent length with natural explosive pop that he shows on both sides of the ball. He came across the lane with a couple of very loud weak-side blocked shots. He also got above the rim for a couple of dunks in traffic. As with most players who grow late, Koehler is very thin. He gets knocked off his spot with relative ease at this point. However, he has a smooth release on the jump shot and he plays with confidence, especially when driving in straight lines. 

West Virginia, Rutgers, Stanford, and Virginia Tech have already gotten involved with the 6-foot-8 forward since the Live Period. He averaged 10.3 points, 4.7 rebounds. 3.0 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game.

3-star SG Brandon Lee (NY Rens)

There is something to be said for a player who simply goes out and puts points on the board. In three of his four games this weekend, Brandon Lee put up 20 or more points. While the efficiency numbers need some tightening, he scored the ball at each level, showing touch as well as feel in the mid-range. Lee is a 6-foot-4 off-guard. He was able to self-create off the bounce and when the ball was not falling, he attacked the rim and got to the free-throw line. His confidence was apparent early, and The Patrick School/NJ guard carried that through the weekend. 

Lee averaged 20.8 points this weekend getting to the free-throw line 9.0 times and shooting 91.7 percent from the line. Duquesne has offered since the Live Period.

3-star PF Zymicah Wilkins (Team United)

While it might not be the flashiest play, Zymicah Wilkins consistently made the right play this weekend. The 6-foot-8 power forward has a sturdy frame with strong hands. He is an instinctive area rebounder and has touch that extends out to the three-point line when his feet are set. The most intriguing aspect of his game this weekend was the passing. Team United did a good job running the offense through him from various levels of the floor. Wilkins displayed excellent touch on his reads. 

Wilkins is currently ranked No. 110 in On3’s 2025 class. He has not taken any official visits yet. The three-star averaged 12.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game during EYBL Indy.
