Eric Reibe, one of the top centers in the 2025 class, has narrowed his list of schools down to 11: Creighton, Harvard, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oregon, Stanford, UConn, and West Virginia.

The 7-foot rising senior out of The Bullis School (MD) has taken official visits to Harvard, Creighton, Iowa (no longer being considered), and has a trip scheduled to Oregon for October 2nd, with more being scheduled in the near future. Ohio State has hosted him on an unofficial visit.

Reibe, a native of Germany, is the No. 38 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 3 center prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Reibe talks visits

In previous interviews with On3, Reibe broke down his previous visits and additional schools involved in his recruitment.

CREIGHTON: “For me, when I go to college, Ryan Kalkbrenner will be leaving. He is their main guy right now that they run their offense through. Coach (Greg) McDermott wants me to be the guy to come in and replace him. They would use me in a way similar to how Nikoa Jokic plays, who controls the ball on the offense, looks for passing, and takes his own shots.

“Our relationship has been good. Coach McDermott calls me or texts me, literally, every single day. The whole staff consistently communications with me. They talk to my parents, our relationship just keeps growing.”

HARVARD: “They talked a lot about how they planned to use me, being a main guy for them. They just had a top 50 guard commit (Elzie Harrington), and they went through a lot of how we would work as a duo. I The coaches talked how he and I could come in and dominate things immediately, first year in. Playing in the Ivy League would be great for my education.

“Our relationship has been good since the visit. They stay in contact, right now they are on fire with texting me every day. And they continue doing that.”

Breaking down additional programs in his top group

OREGON: “Coach (Dana) Altman has done a good job telling me how he wants to use my skill set. I have good connections with Louis Rowe and Coach (Mike) Mennenga. I have developed a good connection with them and good relationships. They haven’t really had a player with my size and skill set, so that is kind of new. But they run a five-out offense and they want to use me more as as a four man to stretch the floor and in dribble hand offs and stuff like that.”

UCONN: “Coach Dan Hurley texts me a lot, even before they offered me. They think I would be a good fit with how they used Donovan Clingan. I’m already good with my skill set but they want to keep putting weight on my and improve my perimeter defense. I watched them a lot through the last two years. How they train and recruit players is very unique. They only take the best that fit what they do, they don’t just throw out offers. Being able to receive one of those offers is showing my work is paying off.”

KENTUCKY: “Things are very good with them. I really like Coach (Mark) Pope and how he contacts me. He calls me like every single day, and with him being a big man, he knows how I feel and how I think on and off the court. I think he could be a good mentor for me. They see me as a shooter in their system. They like how I run the floor and that I can take early threes and play inside out, handoffs, and making the passes.”

UNC: “Things are good with UNC, all of their coaches are in contact with me, and I know they have been here watching me. They want to continue building a relationship with and my family. They like my skill, that I can play inside out, but they also told me that I fit in with how they play defense.”
