The 2023 NFL Draft has officially wrapped up, but there are teams with needs to be filled. That is why the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jaylen Moody. The news of the deal comes courtesy of NFL Networks Tom Pelissero, who broke the news via Twitter.

Moody spent all five years of his collegiate career in Alabama, where he was a member of the Crimson Tides’ dominant 2020 national championship run. In his five years at Alabama, Moody has that limited playing time for the majority of his tenure there.

However, last season Moody proved that he could be a key contributor when given the opportunity. He would go on to finish his super-senior year with 50 total tackles, 24 solo, 8 tackles for loss, two sacks, and a fumble recovery in a span of 10 games.

Cincinnati adds Alabama safety Jordan Battle in 2023 NFL Draft

The Cincinnati Bengals have selected Alabama safety Jordan Battle with the No. 95 overall pick, in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Battle is the latest Crimson Tide defender to be selected with a high pick in the NFL Draft. He joins his cornerback Patrick Surtain II as starters in the secondary from the 2020 Alabama national championship winning football team to be selected in the NFL Draft.
