WATCH: Former Eagles star LeSean McCoy calls Dak Prescott 'ass' and 'trash'
The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys rivalry is still going strong, as former star LeSean McCoy called Dak Prescott “ass” and “trash” ahead of their matchup this week. The Cowboys are coming off their fourth loss of the season after falling to the Jacksonville Jaguars in overtime where a pass from Prescott was tipped and intercepted for a touchdown.
McCoy didn’t mince his words at all while appearing on FS1’s Speak this week, taking a chance to call out Prescott’s defenders after his interceptions since returning from injury.
LeSean McCoy attacks Dak Prescott
“First of all, Dak is ass. Can I say that on TV? Because he is ass ass. That’s one thing. This is the second game that he’s just lost by throwing picks,” said an animated McCoy.
“Prescott has the easiest job, uh, the second-easiest job. The first is Jimmy G [Garoppolo] with the [49ers]. Great defense, run the ball very well, make the same passes. Dak has the easiest job in football. The picks he’s throwing, he’s not even trying to like fit the ball through needles or small little windows — these are easy passes. They run the ball well. What else can you do? I pay you $160 million, that’s how you play? If you tell me that’s outstanding, I don’t know what to say.”

McCoy’s reference to calling Prescott’s play outstanding is targeted at the recent comments by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones who said he felt Prescott played “outstanding” in the loss to the Jaguars. McCoy went on to explain that he didn’t care about any statistics thrown in his face about Prescott’s passer rating or anything else — instead focusing on what he’s watched on the field.
“When you watch the game with your eyes… I watch the same game. He looks trash.”
McCoy’s rant against Prescott isn’t the first time shots have been fired at an opposing quarterback in the past few weeks, after Micah Parsons commented about Jalen Hurts and criticized him as a product of the Eagles’ system. Whatever takes place on the field on Christmas Eve, it’s clear that the rivalry between the NFC East enemies is not dying down any time soon.
