Four-Star CB Sharif Denson names top 5
Four-star cornerback Sharif Denson of Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail High has narrowed his list to five schools—Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Texas A&M.
The 6-foot, 180 pounder went in-depth on his finalists.
Florida
“Coach Toney and Corey Raymond are top tier coaches and will develop me to be an NFL DB,” Denson said. “Also Florida has been my dream school growing up.”
Florida State
“The chance to start early and make an impact early sparks interest for me.”
Ohio State
“Coach Walt is a top tier coach,” Denson said. “Being at OSU, you compete against the best WRs everyday, so you have to get better.”
South Carolina
“Coach Gray is my guy,” Denson said. “He is an amazing DB coach and has a resume that speaks for itself. I also get a chance to play very early.”

“The amount of love they show me is different,” Denson state. “Somebody different from the staff is always texting me. Coach Fisher has also expressed that he wants and will wait for me. Coach Rushing also has NFL experience, and knows what a NFL DB looks like.”
Sharif Denson ranks as the No. 184 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No. 21 cornerback and the No. 35 player in the state of Florida.
