LOOK: Gloves that Justin Jefferson wore during historic catch against Buffalo Bills to be enshrined in Pro Football HOF
Minnesota Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson put together one of the best performances of his prolific career on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Not only did he haul in 10 catches for 193 receiving yards (career-high in receiving yards) and a touchdown, but the former LSU star hauled in what many believed was one of the best catches in NFL history when he one-handed a ball in spectacular fashion. The historic catch earned his equipment a spot in Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The gloves and arm sleeve that he was wearing have officially arrived in Canton and will soon be on display in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Check it out.
Not only that, but according to Scott Hanson of NFL RedZone, he also tied former LSU star Odell Beckham Jr. and Lance Alworth for reaching 4,000 career receiving yards in the shortest amount of time (42 games).
Those are just a few more impressive milestones in what has been an unbelievable NFL career thus far for the gifted wideout. He’s pretty much unguardable and there’s only so much you can do when a player is as amazingly talented as he is. His catch on Sunday sent social media into complete meltdown mode. It will go down as the best catch of the 2022-2023 NFL season and one of the best catches in the history of the sport, without a doubt.
The catch in many ways reminded you of the one-handed leaping snag that another former LSU star, Odell Beckham, Jr., made on Nov. 23, 2014 with the New York Giants. That catch catapulted him to superstardom across the globe. Jefferson was already a superstar, but he definitely took things to an entirely different stratosphere on Sunday.

Justin Jefferson has put up incredible numbers in his career
Hauling in spectacular catches is nothing new for the former LSU star, but no matter what he does the rest of his career, Sunday’s catch will still be tough to top. According to NextGenStats, Jefferson was responsible for nine catches against the Bills with a sub-50% completion probability, the most in a game by any receiver in the NextGenStats era. No other player has had more than six in a single game. Since entering the league in 2020, he’s hauled in 54 catches with a sub-50% completion probability, the most in the NFL.

After hauling in over 100 receiving yards on Sunday, Jefferson also has 20 games of 100-plus receiving yards during his first three seasons in the league. He’s only receiver to accomplish that feat in NFL history.
Tied for second on that list are Odell Beckham, Jr. and Randy Moss. The Vikings won in a 33-30 classic in overtime. Sunday’s game between Buffalo and Minnesota was undoubtedly one of the best games of the season.
The Vikings currently sit at 8-1 overall and they’re in first place in the NFC North. If they keep playing like they did on Sunday, they could be Super Bowl contenders in the playoffs.
