Green Bay Packers: Injury update against Chicago Bears
The Green Bay Packers are embroiled in a tight contest with the Chicago Bears right now. Unfortunately, they suffered some injuries to key players on both offense and defense.
At halftime, the Packers’ Twitter account shed some light on the team’s injuries.
“Injury updates: Packers C Josh Myers (knee) has been ruled out & LB Preston Smith (oblique) is questionable to return,” tweeted the team’s Twitter account.
Coming into the game, Myers was the team’s starting center. After leaving with an injury, the Packers will have to look elsewhere at center.

On the other side of the football, linebacker Preston Smith is questionable to return. Smith was playing a big role as the Packers outside linebacker position was already thin, and now it gets even thinner.
In his stead, La’Darius Hamilton and Jonathon Garvin have seen more snaps. While the linebacking corps is thin, Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears haven’t been able to take advantage.
