Green Bay Packers release Wednesday injury report for Week 5 against Giants
The Green Bay Packers released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday ahead of a Week 5 matchup with the New York Giants. Safety Adrian Amos was the only non-participant on the day, as he is in the concussion protocol following Week 4’s win against the Patriots.
Other than that, the Packers listed seven players who were limited on Wednesday. That includes cornerback Jaire Alexander, who suffered a groin injury on the first drive of Week 3 against Tampa Bay and sat out last week. Alexander is the only Packers player to record an interception so far this season.
Safety Tariq Carpenter was also limited with an abdomen injury as the Packers secondary has a lot of health questions heading into Week 5.
After dropping the season opener to Minnesota, the Packers are on a three-game winning streak. They’ll hope to improve that to four when they kick off against the Giants at 9:30 a.m. ET in London.

Packers Wednesday injury report for Week 5 against the Giants
Did not practice — S Adrian Amos (concussion)
Amos is a starting safety with 13 tackles (two for loss) and one pass defended this season. If he is unable to clear concussion protocols before Sunday, Green Bay should look to Rudy Ford to start in his place. Ford stepped in last week when Amos went down, playing 44 snaps.
Limited participants — CB Jaire Alexander (groin), T David Bakhtiari (knee), S Tariq Carpenter (abdomen), T Elgton Jenkins (knee), WR Allen Lazard (knee), C Josh Myers (foot), DT Devonte Wyatt (quadricep)
Other than the secondary, the Packers also have an injury problem to monitor on the offensive line. Bakhtiari, Jenkins and Myers — all starters — were limited Wednesday, putting their status in question for Week 5. Bakhtiari and Jenkins were both listed on the injury report last week but ended up playing. However, Myers is a new addition to the list this week.
