Ahead of their matchup with the Los Angeles Rams this week, the Green Bay Packers have made their injury report available from Wednesday’s practice. The Packers held a walk-through practice on Wednesday, so all designations in their injury report are estimations.

Packers vs Rams injury report

Did Not Practice – Packers: T David Bakhtiari(Knee), QB Aaron Rodgers(Toe), CB Kevin King(Hip/Knee), WR Malik Taylor(Abdomen)

While Rodgers is back and playing weekly for the Packers, the severity of his toe injury was revealed by Rodgers this week. The injury is “painful” according to Rodgers, and while it hasn’t made him miss any time on the field, he did leave to the locker room early for halftime last week to receive treatment.

In great news for the Packers last week, Bakhtiari was activated to the roster from his ACL tear before nearly ten months ago. Although he is still being kept out from practice, his presence around the team in a helmet has been a boost for sure. Bakhtiari’s return will be a “day-to-day process” according to the team.

Getting Bakhtiari back would be huge for Green Bay’s offensive line. Last year, before his injury, he was a huge reason why the Packers allowed just 21 sacks — a mark that ranked second in the NFL. This year, Green Bay allowed 19 sacks through nine games, which speaks to the impact Bakhtiari has on protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

King and Taylor were also listed as out on Wednesday as the Packers continue to struggle with injuries to key players. As their was no official practice, the extent of their injury is unknown at this time. Despite the issues, they enter Sunday’s game with an 8-3 record.

Limited Participation – Packers: WR Davante Adams(Ankle), LB Rashan Gary(Elbow), WR Allen Lazard(Shoulder), RB Aaron Jones(Knee)

Although they were all estimated as limited but available for Wednesday’s practice, the Packers are monitoring injuries to several more key players. Aaron Jones, Rashan Gary and Allen Lazard all are hoping to be available against the Rams, and the Packers will be glad to see them play.

Gary recorded a sack in the shutout win over the Seahawks two weeks ago and King added an interception.

Davante Adams continues to be listed on the injury report, but this week it is for an ankle injury.

Full Participation – Packers: DL Tyler Lancaster(Thumb)

The only player listed as full participation this week is Lancaster as he battles a thumb injury that the Packers don’t expect him to miss any time with.

As the Packers’ injury report was all estimations without an actual practice, the health of players listed on Thursday’s report will be the first real look at this weekend’s availability.
