Ahead of their matchup with the Minnesota Vikings this week, the Green Bay Packers have made their injury report available from Wednesday’s practice. Aaron Rodgers and David Bakhtiari were among the players who did not practice on Wednesday, with Jaire Alexander and Aaron Jones being limited but available. The Vikings were without Dalvin Cook on Wednesday as he is recovering from an illness.

Packers vs Vikings injury report

Did Not Practice – Packers: T David Bakhtiari(Knee), QB Aaron Rodgers(Toe), DL Tyler Lancaster(Back), G/T Billy Turner(Knee)

Rodgers’ toe has been a constant source of pain for the MVP quarterback, but has still not kept him from playing each week. With the Packers’ playoff spot clinched and the NFC North title secured, it will be worth watching to see if Rodgers is given any rest before the playoffs begin. Green Bay has a lead on the No. 1 seed in the NFC, and likely will attempt to close out the season with homefield advantage in the playoffs.

David Bakhtiari continues to attempt his return from an ACL tear that has kept him out for nearly a full year. Friday marks one year since his injury during a New Year’s Eve practice. Without Bakhtiari, the Packers fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC championship game, but have the best record in the NFL this season.

Bakhtiari made a comeback to practice earlier this year, but was quickly moved back out of the practice lineup as he wasn’t ready to come back just yet. The Packers have not made a decision on him being available just yet, but if he’s ready it may be worth having him play in a game before the playoffs start to knock off any rust.

Limited Participation – Packers: CB Jaire Alexander(Shoulder), RB Aaron Jones(Knee), TE Dominique Dafney(Ankle)

Aaron Jones and Jaire Alexander were both limited on Wednesday, but are expected to be available against the Vikings. Alexander and Kevin King have shared time on the injury list this year, but their presence has helped keep the Packers atop the standings.

Did Not Practice – Vikings: TE Tyler Conklin(Hamstring), S Harrison Smith(Foot/Shoulder), LB Chazz Surratt(Illness)

Limited Participation – Vikings: RB Dalvin Cook(Illness), FB C.J. Ham(Hamstring), RB Kene Nwangwu(Hamstring)

Dalvin Cook headlines the players on the Vikings injury report Wednesday, but he was available despite suffering from illness. Cook is a major part of the Vikings offense when healthy, crossing 1,000 yards rushing for the third straight season last week.
