Hollywood Brown reacts to being traded to Arizona Cardinals
There were a number of trades in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Baltimore Ravens traded Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to the Arizona Cardinals and the No. 100 overall selection (third round choice) for the No. 23 overall selection in the first round of this year’s draft. His time with the Baltimore Ravens officially came to a surprising end. The franchise initially drafted the Hollywood, Florida native in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. During his three seasons with the franchise, Brown reeled in 195 catches for 2,361 receiving yards, while hauling in 21 touchdowns.
Thursday night on Twitter, the former Ravens’ star tweeted his feelings about leaving Lamar Jackson and he wasn’t happy about it.
His best performance in the 2021-2022 season came against the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 11, when he reeled in 10 catches for 125 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
While he was at Oklahoma, Brown played with former Heisman Trophy winner, Kyler Murray, and they established one of the best quarterback-wide receiver tandems in college football during their time together.
