Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow’s football career has gone about as well as anybody could have possibly dreamed the past few seasons. Winning the 2019 Heisman Trophy and the 2020 National Championship at LSU are truly the stuff every player across America dreams of. Then, in just his second year with the Bengals, he just led the franchise to their first Super Bowl since 1988. Back in 2020, he got another cool thing to add to his resume — having a menu item named after him. A steakhouse named Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse in Columbus, Ohio decided to name a steak after him called Steak Burrow.

Check it out below.

Steak Burrow is a 16 oz blackened prime ribeye with Creole crawfish sauce.

Joe Burrow has done a lot for the Athens Food Pantry in Athens, Ohio

Out of all of Burrow’s incredible list of accomplishments, this one is certainly one of the coolest. The restaurant created the meal in honor of the former Heisman Trophy winner’s commitment to food insecurity in Southeast Ohio. The restaurant is donating $9 for each steak sold to the Athens County Food Pantry in Athens, Ohio. During Burrow’s Heisman Trophy acceptance speech, he mentioned the Athens Food Pantry, and shortly after, donations flooded in and they raised $650,000.

Both Burrow and his Cincinnati teammate Ja’Marr Chase have lived up to the hype and then some in their NFL careers thus far, propelling the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988. In the 2021-2022 regular season, Burrow completed 70.4 percent of his passes for 4,611 passing yards, while tossing in 34 touchdowns and just 14 interceptions. Not only that, uber-talented quarterback performed at an incredibly high level behind one of the worst offensive lines in league history. He was sacked 70 times over a span of 20 games last year–third most in league history. Luckily for the former Heisman Trophy winner, the Bengals have invested heavily in rebuilding their offensive line heading into the 2022-2023 season.

Chase did some historic damage of his own last year for the Cincinnati Bengals, hauling in 81 catches for 1,455 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. It was a record-setting season for the uber-talented receiver and it’s safe to say, he’s just getting warmed up. Chase is destined to be one of the greatest receivers to ever play the game.

Both Burrow and Chase are just getting warmed up and it’s going to be incredible to see what they accomplish together in their promising NFL careers.
