The Arizona Cardinals saw a tough scene on the field early against the Patriots, when quarterback Kyler Murray went down with injury. The injury occurred while Murray was attempting to dodge a tackle and he went down to the field with no contact of any kind.
Kyler Murray suffers non-contact injury
Immediately following Murray’s injury, Peyton Manning reacted with shock and a grimace as he knew what the injury could mean for the young star quarterback.
“Don’t see anything there, but that’s usually not a good sign,” added Eli Manning during the broadcast.

After the commercial break, video showed an emotional Murray being put on the injury cart before getting taken off the field. Teammates and opposing players from the Patriots came over to give words of encouragement for the injured player in a tough moment for fans of the game.
Colt McCoy took over quarterback duties for the Cardinals in Murray’s absence, preparing to lead them against the Patriots on Monday Night Football.
