4-star F Latrell Allmond discusses upcoming visits to Tennessee, Oklahoma State, and Rutgers
Latrell Allmond jumped to No. 31 overall in the latest 2026 On3 150 ranking update. The 6-foot-8 forward made the jump after playing up in grade this summer with the Team Loaded Va program on the Adidas 3SSB 17u Circuit where Allmond shot 49.6 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from three while averaging 6.1 points and 2.5 blocks per game.
“I’m coming into this season a lot more versatile with the ball in my hands,” Allmond told On3. “I am trusting myself and the work that I put in all summer. I’m showing my all-around in-game package and everything I’ve been working on. I watch a lot of big forwards like Kawhi Leonard, the Suns rookie Ryan Dunn, and even some Zion (Williamson). Those long, big wings and forwards that are versatile.”
On3 caught up with four-star Latrell Allmond after a recent live viewing to discuss the current stage of his recruitment.
“I have unofficial visits set up with Oklahoma State, Rutgers, and Tennessee,” Allmond said. “They’ve all offered me, too.”
Allmond talks upcoming visits
OKLAHOMA STATE: “My relationship with them is good. I’m currently getting recruited by Coach (James) Miller, he used to be at Mississippi State. He’s just been pouring into me these past couple of months. He’s been giving me a good run down and feel for the program and I’m excited to get out there and see for myself.”

RUTGERS: “I don’t think many people realize this, but Rutgers was my very first Division 1 offer. They were the first school to offer me. So that connection with them has been there from the get-go. They were the first ones who took a chance on me so that right there has them in it from the jump.”
TENNESSEE: “I started getting close with those guys during my eighth-grade summer. Now we are always talking, and every day, we are getting to know each other. Me and Coach (Justin) Gainey are building that connection and relationship so that when I get on campus it will feel like home.”
In Latrell Allmond’s words
“I would say that around this time next year, I will probably have a pretty good idea where I’m going to be going to school,” Allmond said.
“I’m going to be looking for a school that is going to allow me to go in there and grow and develop. I want to play for a coach who is going to allow me to be me and not try to change me into something I’m not. Trust is the big thing for me. Because playing for a coach that you trust, you can just go out there and play hard. My ultimate goal is to go to the NBA, so I want to play for a coach I trust and where I can have the opportunity to earn a starting spot early.
