Five-star Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson defensive lineman Peter Woods is ready to make his college commitment.

The No. 24 prospect in the On3 Consensus has narrowed his list to four schools and will choose tonight between Alabama, Florida, Clemson, and Jackson State. As it stands at 6:45 p.m. ET, Clemson is the heavy favorite to land Woods, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

On3’s Joseph Hastings is on site at Woods’ announcement and will be providing live updates leading up to the announcement expected to come at 7:45 p.m. ET.

6:39 p.m. ET: Spoke with Woods’ grandfather, Larry. Larry recounted a story in which Woods asked his family to go bowling for his birthday because he knows his grandfather likes to bowl. That resonated with Larry and showed how selfless Woods is.

Larry also talked about Woods’ versatility, lateral quickness, and overall strength. He’s excited to see his grandson make the big decision tonight.

6:35 p.m. ET: The hats are on the table.

6:26 p.m. ET: Woods has his own merchandise out at the table. Two shirts (one red, one orange) read “commitment.”

6:16 p.m. ET: At the Clemson tables, there is a photo of Woods and his family at a game, as well as three of him in a jersey. We also saw a photo with Woods and Dabo Swinney; no other table has a photo with Woods and that school’s head coach.

6:11 p.m. ET: Woods’ mother, Devyn, says she is “so stinking excited” to see her son commit today. Talked about how great of a kid he is. She also says that people should start filling in around 5:45 Central Time.

6:07 p.m. ET: At the Crimson Tide balloons table, there is a photo of a young Peter Woods with an Alabama jacket on. There’s also a photo of him with former teammate Jeremiah Alexander, who is a freshman at Alabama.

6:00 p.m. ET: Over a dozen tables have been set up, so there appears to be a good amount of guests expected. Tables have balloons that are red and white (Alabama), orange and purple (Clemson), white and dark blue (Jackson State), and orange and blue (Florida).
