Live Updates: 4-star TE Trey'Dez Green commitment ceremony
It’s decision day for Jackson (La.) East Feliciana four-star tight end Trey’Dez Green.
Green is the No. 56 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 2 tight end and the No. 2 prospect in Louisiana.
He will choose between Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Miami. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine heavily favors the Tigers heading into his decision.

Trey’Dez Green Commitment Ceremony Live Updates
2:13 p.m. CT: Green pulls out a Tennessee shirt but tosses it aside and reveals an LSU shirt under his jacket. Puts an LSU hat on to make it official.
2:12 p.m. CT: Another coach says he started watching him ball on the court and was recruited to football, but his mom denied. Two years later, they got cleats on Trey and a deal was made to keep him from getting hurt. One game later, he had three scholarship and more schools calling.
2:10 p.m. CT: Head football coach says Green’s attitude is always great, he was always a leader — even unintentionally — and thanks him for being an example to young men in the community.
2:08 p.m. CT: More coaches and administrators coming to the podium to talk about Trey’Dez. His basketball coach says Green has been a great teammate and hard worker throughout the whole process.
“He had a consistent attitude and work ethic and was a great teammate and example setter.”
2:07 p.m. CT: Family and close friends sit down and his coach is about to speak. He is talking about finalists and Green’s 40-plus football offers and 20 offers in hoops.
