Los Angeles Rams star cornerback Jalen Ramsey received a fine from the NFL this week following unsportsmanlike conduct in the NFC title game. Ramsey talked back to officials, threw his helmet, and even went head-to-head briefly with 49ers kicker Robbie Gould.

Ramsey’s fine is for $15,000, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. He likely won’t think twice about the fine as he and his teammates prepare for Super Bowl 56 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. He is currently in the middle of a five-year, $105 million deal with the Rams.

After the win versus San Francisco, Ramsey shared that he wasn’t even upset that he dropped an interception.

“WE DID IT! NFC CHAMPIONS! WE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL, I DON’T CARE I DROPPED A PICK NO MORE,” Ramsey tweeted. “Maybe I was saving it for next game. GOD IS GOOD! ALL GLORY TO GOD!”

On the season, the former Florida State star has intercepted four passes, adding 77 tackles, one forced fumble and 16 passes defended.

Rams add Ramsey, Whitworth to injury report ahead of Super Bowl 56

Super Bowl 56 is inching closer and the nation is ready for one of the more unlikely and unforeseen matchups in recent NFL history. The Rams and the Bengals are taking every step to be in their best position to win next Sunday.

Los Angeles has been surging on both sides of the ball, however, Friday’s injury report was not promising. Two names jumped out to everyone with a rooting interest in Super Bowl 56.

Cornerback Jalen Ramsey did not practice because of a shoulder injury, and left tackle Andrew Whitworth was out with a quadriceps injury. The Rams listed both as questionable.

Offensive lineman Joe Noteboom (chest), running back Cam Akers (shoulder), tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) and defensive back Grant Haley (quadriceps) remained out of practice.

Receiver Van Jefferson (knee) was out of practice Friday after he was a limited participant on the other two practice reports of the week.

Safety Taylor Rapp (concussion) was a full participant and is good to go for Super Bowl 56.

Based on the team’s status report, Noteboom and Higbee are the furthest away from returning. The Rams listed both as doubtful to play if the game was this Sunday.
