WATCH: LA Rams release Hollywood-produced trailer for 2022 NFL Draft
The Los Angeles Rams might not make a selection until Day Two of the NFL Draft this year, but that has not stopped them from releasing one of the best hype videos of the year in anticipation. In a three-minute trailer which rivals the Hollywood productions it mimics, the Super Bowl champions are prepared to add to their roster.
The Rams own eight draft picks this year, including one Day Two pick and seven Day Three picks. Despite the lack of early selections, due to previous trades which helped them assemble a veteran-filled roster in 2021, the front office seems confident in their ability to add talent to the roster.
“Everyone wants what we have,” the narrator starts. “We have to protect what’s ours. The only question is, are you in?”
After promoting the start of the NFL Draft on April 28, the Rams video continues. Two executives look to assemble a team which can help the organization moving forward, including Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald and other Rams stars who take on roles in an action-filled thriller set to take place in Las Vegas.
After saying that general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay will “throw caution to the wind” this year, the trailer uses clips from multiple media members who criticized the decision to trade away so many picks last season.

“We’re going to steal the draft,” the video concludes.
Todd McShay on NFL Draft chaos
The 2022 NFL Draft is just a week away, but there is still a lot of certainty at the quarterback position for some teams around the league. Because of that, ESPN NFL Draft expert Todd McShay believes that draft weekend could be filled with chaos depending on how the final quarterback dominoes fall.
Baker Mayfield is expected to be on the move sometime soon, as the Cleveland Browns added Deshaun Watson to their quarterback room. One team that has been linked to Mayfield is the Carolina Panthers. If the Panthers make a move for Mayfield ahead of the NFL Draft, it would likely take them out of the draft’s quarterback market, which McShay thinks could be chaotic for how the first round shakes out.
“I think there could be chaos, we just don’t know where it’s going to start,” McShay said. “Carolina is the first team. If they do make a deal for Baker Mayfield on draft weekend potentially, then they’re out of the quarterback market, at least for this year would be my guess. So where do these quarterbacks fall.”
