LSU lands a commitment from 2026 WR Kenny Darby: 'They are WRU'

Bossier City (La.) Airline wide receiver Kenny Darby recently backed off his pledge to Mississippi State and after visiting LSU over the weekend for the Alabama game, he has committed to the Tigers.
“I told the coaches from LSU about my decision on Monday night,” Darby told On3. “I committed to LSU because they showed me mad love. The atmosphere and the environment was crazy and the fans always pack the stadium.
“I want to be a part of that and they put wide receivers in the draft every year. They develop receivers and they are WRU. I feel like I can have a lot of success at LSU and I feel like I fit the mode of an LSU wide receiver.”
LSU offered the 6-foot, 175-pound junior on his visit to Baton Rouge Saturday. It was an offer Darby was waiting for and his commitment to the home-state school was easy.
