Mel Kiper releases brand new Top 25 big board rankings for 2023 NFL Draft
The 2022 NFL Draft happened just a month ago, but it’s never too early to take a look into next season. On Tuesday morning, ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper released his updated Top 25 big board for the 2023 NFL Draft, with some familiar faces at the top.
Alabama and Ohio State lead the way in Kiper’s 2023 NFL Draft big board, with two players from each program landing in the top five. Alabama also has a third player that cracks the top ten, while Ohio State has a third that cracks the top 15. Clemson is also heavily included, with three selections in this Top 25.
In a drastic change from the 2022 draft, the 2023 quarterback class is shaping up to be an extremely strong one. Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Tyler Van Dyke, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis are all included in Kiper’s Top 25, and there are plenty of other quality options that just missed the cut. After just one quarterback was taken in this year’s draft, that is likely to change significantly next offseason.

With two Heisman finalists, the 2022 Heisman winner, and the top snub from being a finalist for the prestigious award making up the top three on Kiper’s 2023 NFL Draft big board, this draft class is undoubtedly shaping up to be a great one. There is quality talent throughout Kiper’s Top 25, and the talent doesn’t stop there.
Players will certainly put themselves on the draft radar during the 2022 college football season, while others might see their stock fall a bit. But for now, Kiper’s big board provides an intriguing glimpse into who could make up next year’s first round.
