3-star WR Morgan Pearson announces commitment date
Ardmore (Okla.) Plainview three-star wide receiver Morgan Pearson revealed his commitment date on Sunday night. He will be announcing his college decision on Nov. 28 at 12:00 p.m. Central.
Pearson is the No. 685 overall prospect and No. 97 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Oklahoma.
The 6-foot-1, 218-pound wideout holds five offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Michigan State has a commanding lead for his commitment at 99.4%.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

Pearson has taken three visits in his recruitment. He was at Michigan State on Nov. 19, as well as Oklahoma on Sept. 24 and April 19. The Spartans already have a commitment from the top player in Oklahoma: Norman (Okla.) Community Christian School four-star EDGE Bai Jobe, the No. 58 overall prospect in the 2023 On300.
An Oklahoma native, Pearson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $12K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
