Report: New York Giants believe Wan'Dale Robinson suffered serious knee injury
The New York Giants had a tough Sunday. First and foremost, they hosted the Detroit Lions and lost 31-18 for their second loss in three games. However, the most concerning news are the injury updates from the matchup, specifically the one surrounding rookie wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson.
Per a source that spoke to Jordan Raanan at ESPN, the Giants fear that Robinson ‘suffered a serious right knee injury’. He was hurt late in the fourth quarter when he grabbed his knee on the Giant sideline. Tests are expected to come on Monday but, after the game, Brian Daboll didn’t sound too positive either.

“He looked like he was in a lot of pain…I don’t know what it is,” said Daboll.
The Giants drafted Robinson 43rd overall in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Kentucky. He broke out as a junior in Lexington with record-setting receiving numbers that included 104 catches, 1,334 yards, and seven touchdowns.
After playing New York’s opener, he missed the following four games with a sprained MCL. Overall, Robinson has caught 23 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown. The injury he seems to have suffered against Detroit stings worse considering today was his best game as a pro so far with nine catches for 100 yards off 13 targets.

The test results will tell us more about Robinson’s health come Monday. However, it appears the Giants may be in for a difficult blow when it comes to their young receiver’s status soon.
Wan’Dale Robinson exits NY Giants game with knee injury
Giants rookie Wan’Dale Robinson had to exit New York’s game vs. the Detroit Lions after suffering a knee injury in the fourth quarter. Robinson reeled in his ninth reception of the game and was shoved out of bounds by Detroit’s Mike Hughes and Alex Anzalone. He was seen clutching his knee on the sidelines and had to be helped to the locker room, not putting any weight on his right leg. Fox’s Erin Andrews reported he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
