Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban knows all about the dangers of playing at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Saban was involved in plenty of wild games at Auburn during his coaching career, no matter what Auburn’s record was at the time.

The Tigers have struggled to a 4-6 mark this season, but Nick Saban still feels like Hugh Freeze’s team is dangerous as it welcomes Texas A&M to town.

Saban issued a warning to the Aggies ahead of their matchup with Auburn on Saturday night.

“Well, I would be alerting Texas A&M, because in my opinion, in 17 years, going to Auburn, playing in Jordan-Hare, that place is haunted. I guarantee you,” Nick Saban said. “The way we lost games and the way we won games there, it’s unbelievable. The Kick-Six, and then the gravedigger last year. I mean, I’m telling you, the place is haunted.”

While Nick Saban was involved in plenty of crazy games at Auburn, it’s clear that two stick out.

The first one Saban mentioned was the Kick-Six, which took place in 2013. Alabama jumped out to a 21-7 lead that year, before Auburn fought back to score late in the fourth quarter and tie the game at 28 with less than a minute remaining.

Alabama then drove to the Auburn 38 and attempted a 57-yard field goal for the win. However, the kick came up short, and Chris Davis returned it for a touchdown, giving the Tigers a 34-28 win and stunning Nick Saban and Alabama.

The other game Nick Saban mentioned was played last year. Alabama entered with a 10-1 record, while Auburn was 6-5. Still, the Tigers were in position to pull off the huge upset.

Auburn led 24-20 with less than a minute remaining and Alabama faced a fourth-and-goal from the Auburn 31, needing a touchdown to avoid the loss. That’s when Jalen Milroe found Isaiah Bond for a 31-yard touchdown and Alabama escaped with a win.

Nick Saban has experienced firsthand the craziness that is Jordan-Hare Stadium, and he is warning Texas A&M to be careful.
