Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) head coach Nick Sirianni got into it with the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field following Sunday’s 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns (1-5).

During parts of the game, the crowd could be heard chanting “Fire Sirianni.” Sirianni didn’t forget and taunted his team’s own fans after the game.

While it’s unclear how hot Sirianni’s seat is, there’s certainly been a clamoring from the Philadelphia faithful for his dismissal dating back to last season when the Eagles lost five of their final six regular season games, as well as the NFC Wild Card Round game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Whatever the case, Philadelphia temporarily moved into a tie for second in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys (3-2) after a much-needed victory over the Browns.

Nick Sirianni feeling the heat from Eagles fans

The overall performance, however, left much to be desired. The Eagles generated 372 total yards of offense but struggled on third down (5-of-14) and failed to cash in on their lone red zone opportunity. The rushing attack, sixth in the NFL entering the game, picked up 116 yards on 36 carries, a 3.2 average.

For as vocal as the crowd was against Sirianni, the reaction on social media was just as rampant.

“The Eagles barely won against the 1-5 Cleveland Browns,” one fan wrote on X. “They were home and off a bye week and this is how Nick Sirianni is acting after the game. Incredibly embarrassing.”
