Odell Beckham Jr. marvels at Los Angeles Rams teammates, happy with decision
As the Los Angeles Rams get ready to play in the Super Bowl, one player in particular has to be happy about it. After all, the team he started the year with didn’t even make the playoffs.
Odell Beckham Jr. signed with the Rams in November and now is getting ready for the biggest game of his career on Sunday at SoFi Stadium. Ahead of the game, he spoke about coming into Los Angeles and how he fit in with the other players.
Beckham pointed to one player in particular who’s helping him learn: Cooper Kupp. He’s soaking up as much knowledge as possible from arguably the top receiver in the game — which makes him even happier about his decision to sign with Los Angeles.
“Man, coming here and being with Coop has just been really amazing for me,” Beckham said. “You come in somewhere where they have their guy and you watch and you witness greatness between him and Stafford as far as the attention to detail, the relationship that they have. That’s everything that you want as far as a QB and a receiver. Details, the way he actually runs routes, the football knowledge, all of those things where we get to sit there and [converse] and I’m always going to gain off of someone else. It’s just been great, honestly.
“I’ve learned so much from him. He’s a great guy. Obviously, an incredible talent. I’m just happy that I made the right choice. Now, I just feel like he deserves this trophy and he deserves the ring … along with everybody else here, but I want to be able to help them finish the job.”

Odell Beckham Jr reveals he almost chose another NFL team over Rams
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. revealed Monday that he nearly didn’t land in LA, and in turn would have never made his first Super Bowl this season. Beckham said he was very close to signing with the Patriots.
But how close?
“Very. Very, very, very,” Beckham said Monday.
Beckham also revealed that he had conversations with New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick over the phone. The deal could have been done, but Beckham didn’t see the post-Tom Brady era Patriots as the right fit for him at the moment.
“I don’t think I joked with [Belichick] on the phone, but I was [feeling] like, ‘You know, if this was three years ago, it would have been ideal. You know?” Beckham said. “Because Tom [Brady], he’s one of my favorites.”
