Odell Beckham Jr. strongly denies allegations against him in Diddy complaint

Less than 24 hours after he was named a defendant in ongoing litigation against Sean Combs (aka Diddy), NFL receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has spoken out. He issued a statement via Twitter.
Among other things, Beckham expressed his incredulity that he was named in the complaint. He denied being present at the location specified in the allegations.
“I have been informed of the allegations about me in a suit in CA,” Beckham wrote. “I really can’t even believe that my name is mentioned in that matter. There is absolutely no truth to those allegations.
“I do not know and have never met the person that filed the suit. I was not anywhere near Orinda, CA at that time. In fact, I don’t think I have ever even been to Orinda, CA. I have never done anything like that, and I would never do anything like that to anyone. I’m confident that these ridiculous claims against me will be dismissed.”

More on Odell Beckham Jr.
The Super Bowl LVI champion and three-time Pro Bowler last suited up for the Miami Dolphins during the 2024 season. That was his fourth team in as many years, with Odell Beckham’s production tailing off considerably.
He logged just nine appearances in 2024 in Miami, tallying nine catches for 55 yards. But at his best, Beckham was a superstar on the gridiron.
In the first six years of his career, Beckham posted five seasons topping the 1,000-yard mark receiving. He racked up 48 touchdowns during that timeframe, playing mostly with the New York Giants.

The Giants drafted him with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and Beckham did not disappoint. He was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year out of LSU in 2014.
Odell Beckham spent the first five seasons of his career in New York, where he earned three Pro Bowl appearances — all coming in his first three years in the league. He also made numerous jaw-dropping catches that earned him the label as one of the NFL’s best pass-catchers.
From there, Beckham went to Cleveland, starting with the 2019 campaign. It was one of his last full seasons in the NFL, with injuries and other issues contributing to several seasons with fewer than 10 appearances since.
Odell Beckham has not topped the 600-yard mark receiving since 2019, his first year with the Browns. He had a miniature resurgence in Baltimore in 2023, when he managed to log 14 appearances and tallied 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
As it stands, Beckham has logged 575 career catches for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns.
