LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne is one of the most successful college athletes in the name, image and likeness space. Dunne, who has an On3 NIL Valuation of $3.4 million, recently spoke with top football recruits in the 2024 cycle at the On3 NIL Elite Series presented by Mizuno.

After speaking to the athletes about her NIL journey, Dunne hosted a meet and greet with the recruits in attendance. It was then, the social media icon decided to let the blue-chip football recruits assist with one of her TikTok posts.

Dunne, along with Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden, Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews and Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell, who is committed to Georgia, and others, danced to Roscoe Dash & Wale’s No Hands.

The meet and greet also featured Colin Simmons, the top-ranked EDGE in the 2024 recruiting class, threw up an “L” with the LSU gymnast, teasing a possible commitment to the Tigers. Tennessee defensive line commit Carson Gentle showed off his flexibility, striking a split right in front of her.

Last month, Dunne signed an NIL deal with Sports Illustrated and will become the first college athlete to appear in SI’s swimsuit edition. Other companies that Dunne has NIL deals with include Vuori Clothing, Caktus AI, Forever 21 and American Eagle Outfitters.

Dunne has already developed a massive social media following with 11.3 million followers across three platforms. 7.4 million of her followers are on TikTok, 3.8 million are on Instagram and 88,000 are on Twitter.

Dunne works with Garrett Yaralian and Jason Rosenberg of WME. She also told On3 that her family has played a crucial role in her success with NIL.

“I would say having a good support system is so important,” Dunne said. “My family, they stand behind me, and my mom, she helps me. My sister helps put together videos and sends them to the brand while I’m at practice or competing. So, she’s definitely a huge component in my everyday life and helping me with these brand deals. But having a good support system and compartmentalizing your day, so you don’t get overwhelmed [is crucial].”

According to Dunne, LSU has also provided support for her NIL initiatives. Dunne’s On3 NIL Valuation currently sits second in the On3 NIL 100 behind USC basketball signee Bronny James, the son of NBA star LeBron James.

“LSU has helped in so many different ways,” Dunne said. “They have so many amenities for all the LSU student-athletes and helping with NIL and helping navigate the whole thing, because at first, it was just so unprecedented. And it was such a new area for everyone. And even for myself, they’ve helped so much.

“We have a whole NIL department at LSU, which is new and they’re so helpful. And they always check in on their student-athletes, which is awesome. And they have backdrops if you want to make social media content. They just have everything. They are willing to do whatever they can do to help.”
