On3 four-star CB Zadian Gentry locks in six visits, including five official visits

On3 four-star CB Zadian Gentry has scheduled six visits over the next few months, including five off-season official visits as the highly touted defensive back inches closer toward his much-anticipated college decision.
Gentry, the No. 33-ranked cornerback in the On300 for the 2025 recruiting class out of the Dallas Metroplex, is slated to make an unofficial visit to Missouri next month on March 20.
Gentry will dive into his official visit schedule in April. That begins with trips to Oklahoma State (April 26-28), Wisconsin (May 30-June 2), TCU (June 7-9), Baylor (June 14-16) and then Nebraska (June 21-23) to round out the summer. The McKinney (Texas) High four-star DB is expected to have a decision in place shortly after that round of visits.
SMU is another contender in the On300 cornerback’s recruitment. He was on campus earlier this month before the dead period.
“Getting to know more about the staff and the facilities,” Gentry told On3. “I really think it’s an upcoming program, you’ve just got to let it wait and make time as all the facilities develop. Them moving to the ACC, really makes it a bigger and better powerhouse.”

SMU defensive backs coach Rickey Hunley impressed him when spending time with the four-star prospect.
“He’s 100 all the time. He’s a great DB developer,” Gentry told On3’s On The Pony Express. “No matter what your situation is, he can help ball skills, speed, anything. Coach (Rickey) Hunley is a great coach.”
“They stand up there pretty high. Coach Hunley sets the standard very high,” he cotninued. “Their message to me was not trying to force anything, but they really want me as a player. They want me to make an impact on their program.”
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Gentry is the No. 273 overall prospect in the country out of McKinney (Texas) High School in the Dallas Metroplex. Gentry is the No. 46-rated recruit inside the Lone Star State for this cycle.
