Philadelphia Eagles sign DT Ndamukong Suh to a one-year deal
The Philadelphia Eagles are all in on competing for the Super Bowl this season. They started out 8-0 before finally falling at home against divisional rival Washington, but are now actively trying to bolster their roster before the home stretch.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are planning to sign a huge name and a huge human being to their defensive line. Check out his report:
“The rich get richer. The #Eagles are signing free agent DT Ndamukong Suh to a 1-year, sources say, beefing up their defensive front with a top free agent. They want to keep the DL a strength. The deal has been agreed to and is done.”
A big get for Philadelphia and their defensive front. With rookie run-stopping monster and former Georgia player Jordan Davis out due to injury, perhaps the Suh signing is to help in lieu of him.

More on Suh
Before signing with the Eagles, Suh was a free agent and hadn’t suited up and played on an NFL field since last season. When he did play last, Suh was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he spent several seasons and even won a Super Bowl. Prior to that, he competed in another Super Bowl when he was on the Rams, but fell up short that time.
Suh has also spent time in Detroit, where he was drafted and produced one of the great rookie seasons among modern defensive tackles, and also Miami.
He’s been one of the most dependable defensive linemen and players in the NFL since coming into the League. He missed just two games in his second season, but otherwise, he’s suited up and played in every single game of his career. In fact, he has currently appeared in every regular season game for ten straight years prior to taking some time off as a FA this season.
Huge get for Philly.
