Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers organization are not waiting until the start of next season to commemorate the life of quarterback Dwayne Haskins. Steelers fans have created a small shine outside of Heinz Field to honor Haskins. Nick Farabaugh of Steelers Now snapped this picture of the homage to the young quarterback; which is located on the outside of the C Gate.

This is just the latest in tributes to the late former Buckeye star. On Saturday, at halftime of their spring game, Ohio State played a video tribute to Haskins. Just over two minutes long, the video showed highlights from his college career and also interviewed members of his family.  Ohio State had previously said it planned to honor Haskins at its spring game, and it followed through in several ways. There was a moment of silence prior to the start of the game, and starting quarterback CJ Stroud walked onto the field bearing Haskins’ name on the back of his jersey.

Haskins was killed Saturday morning in South Florida while trying to cross I-595.

Haskins’ father releases video celebrating his son’s life

The football world is still mourning the loss of former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who was recently killed in a tragic accident. Ohio State honored their former signal caller in a number of ways at the Buckeyes’ spring game on Saturday, and on Sunday, the father of Haskins released an emotional tribute to celebrate the life of his son.
