Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris flashed his first-round athleticism once again on Sunday versus the Atlanta Falcons.
The former Alabama star stiff-armed defender Richie Grant into the ground with brutal force as the Steelers trucked down the field for their second field goal to go up 6-0.
Check out the devastating blow below.
So far in the Week 13 matchup, Najee Harris has seven carries for 35 yards. Quarterback Kenny Pickett is 6-of-13 for 45 yards. The former Crimson Tide running back entered the week banged up with an oblique strain. He practiced in a limited fashion on Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday but told reporters ahead of the matchup that he was “good.”
After finishing the 2021 season with 1,229 rushing yards, Harris’s numbers this season are reflective of the team’s struggles. He has 585 yards on 158 carries, which is an average of 3.7 yards per carry. He also has four rushing touchdowns, one of which he scored last week in the win versus the Colts. Harris hasn’t broken the 100-yard rushing mark yet this season. He came within just one yard of the 100-yard mark versus the Saints three weeks ago.

Steelers looking for back-to-back wins
Pittsburgh picked up their first road win since Week One on Monday night with a 24-17 victory over the Colts in Indianapolis. Now, on a short week, the Steelers will have a chance to make it two straight in Atlanta today against the Falcons.
It’s a big opportunity for Pittsburgh to pick up their third win in four games in order to potentially move up from last place in the AFC North. However, Atlanta is just as desperate as they’re just a game behind Tampa Bay for the top spot in the NFC South.
