Pro Football Focus releases final Big Board ahead of 2023 NFL Draft
The 2023 NFL Draft is upon us. After several weeks of evaluations and analysis, the moment has arrived for these collegiate prospects to take the next step and kick off their pro careers. That also means the time has come for the final breakdowns and predictions for what will take place later this week in Kansas City.
That includes Pro Football Focus as they released their final big board ahead of the first round on Thursday night.
Atop PFF’s Board is Alabama QB Bryce Young. In a quarterback-heavy first round, all signs seem to point to Young being the first overall selection by the Carolina Panthers in a few days. The website’s analysts seemed to agree as they tabbed him as ‘flat-out the best playmaker at the quarterback position in the draft class’. In total, he is one of three Crimson Tide prospects within the ranking as a pair of ‘Bama defenders also finished in the Top-15.

As far as programs, though, Ohio State leads the way with four prospects within the list. QB CJ Stroud and WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba connected often on the field in Columbus and, in these ratings, are paired together again as members of PFF’s Top-10. Two offensive linemen for the Buckeyes are also not too far behind.
Alabama and Ohio State are two of the four programs that boast more than one selection on PFF’s board. A pair of SEC schools join them in that distinction as Georgia tied the Tide with three while Florida saw a pair of Gators get listed.
