Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Modern Era semifinalists revealed
The group of Modern Era semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2022 has been revealed. All in all, 26 players made the cut — 13 on defense, 13 on offense and two primary special teams players.
Continuing, this year’s semifinalists include players who made an impact at multiple stops throughout their careers. For example, wide receiver Anquan Boldin is a semifinalist for the first time — he played for four teams in his illustrious career.
Surprisingly, no quarterbacks made the cut on offense. However, eight wide receivers were chosen as semifinalists. Two offensive lineman and three running backs rounded out the offensive selections.
